Brief Report:

A three-day workshop in collaboration with Pidilite Industries Ltd was held in the Department of Fashion Designing on 11th, 13th and 14th September 2019. The programme started with the Lightning of the Lamp, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Shemushi, Head, Department of Fashion Designing, Patna Women’s College.

Mr. Nikhil Mathur, Regional Sales Manager, Pidilite Industries Ltd was the chief guest. Ms. Anuja Sinha was the resource person of the workshop. Mr. Bhaskar Dutta, Branch Manager, Sales, Mr. Santosh Sinha, Area Manager & Mr. Rahul Mishra, Marketing Development Incharge, Pidilite Co. also visited the workshop.

The participants actively participated in various craft work as follows: Japanese art (Shivory pattern), Tie Dye printing, costume jewelry making with Shilpkar material of Pidilite Brand, coasters, and wind chime with old newspaper and many more craft items.

A vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Shemushi, HOD. It inculcated new creative skills for the students in an engaging activity form.
