The Department of English, Patna Women’s College, in collaboration with Bon Secours College for Women,Thanjavur, organized a workshop titled “Colonial to Postcolonial: Understanding the Power Dynamics” on 11/03/2025. The event brought together UG and PG students, and faculty members to explore the complexities of postcolonialism and its relevance in the contemporary world.
The workshop featured a keynote address by Dr. Sahar Rahman, Head and Associate Professor, Department of English, Patna Women’s College via google meet. The presentation delved into the nuances of power dynamics in colonial and postcolonial contexts.
The workshop aimed to provide a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and critical thinking, enabling participants to analyse the ongoing impact of colonialism on the contemporary world.
