Online Speech and Poster Competition

Brief Report-

The ECO Task Force, the Student Environment Club of Patna Women’s College, hosted an Online Speech Competition and a Poster making competition on June 5th, 2021. The Speech Competition centered around the theme “Steps for resetting our relation with nature,” while the Poster Contest focused on the theme “Re-imagine, Re-create, Re-store Ecosystem.” Prof. Shahla Yasmin, who serves as the Head of the Department of Zoology, Dean of the Science Faculty, and Vice President of the ECO Task Force, coordinated the program. Active participation was observed from members of the ECO Task Force during the event. The main objective of both contests was to raise awareness about the necessary measures to reset our relationship with nature and emphasize the significance of re-imagining, recreating, and restoring ecosystems. The jury panel for the Poster Contest included Dr. Sapna Kumari, an Assistant Professor, Dr. Neetu, Assistant Professor, and Mr. Sumeet Ranjan, Assistant Professor. For the Speech Contest, the jury members were Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, Associate Professor, Dr. Sister M. Stuti A.C., Assistant Professor, and Dr. Anupma Kumari, Assistant Professor from the Department of Zoology at Patna Women’s College. The entire event was successfully organized under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College.
