Brief Report-

The Department of Zoology and Eco Task Force at Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University, organized a Slogan Writing Competition and a Poster Making Competition on 21st March2022, to commemorate “World Sparrow Day,”. The objective of the event was to raise awareness among students about the strong bond between humans and sparrows. The theme for the Slogan Writing Competition was “Bond between human and Sparrow,”whiles the theme for the Poster Making Competition was “Ecological importance of Sparrow.” A total of 45 students from undergraduate and postgraduate programs participated in these competitions. The judges for the Slogan Writing Competition were Dr. Sapna Kumari, Dr. Anupma Kumari, and Dr. Sumeet Ranjan, Assistant Professors, Department of Zoology. The judges for the Poster Making Competition were Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, Associate Professor, and Dr. Sapna Kumari and Dr. Neetu, Assistant Professors Department of Zoology. The program was organized by Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, the Head, Department of Zoology. The entire program was effectively coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sister M.
