Srijan Club

Srijan club was started by Dr. Sister M. Rashmi.A.C Principal of  Patna Women’s College on 09.08.2024.  The aim of the club is to impact skills to students in order to create sustainable products through different artistic medium and techniques under the guidance of experienced teachers .It is  a platform for students to explore, learn, and showcase artistic talents, fostering creativity, confidence, and community engagement, while promoting cultural enrichment and social responsibility. The club encourages students to achieve knowledge about the varied rich traditional art and craft of India.The knowledge skill applied to create different home utility and decorative items.

Objectives:

  1. To promote creativity, artistic expression, and cultural enrichment among college students.
  2. To provide a platform for students to explore and develop their artistic skills.
  3.  To foster a sense of community and teamwork through collaborative  art projects.
  4.  Conduct regular art and craft sessions (sketching ,painting, folk art, sculpture, pottery,  textile design, etc.).
  5. Collaborate with other college clubs and departments for interdisciplinary projects.
  6. Encourage experimentation with various art forms and techniques.
  7. Organize art-related events and activities for college festivals and celebrations.
  8. Invite guest artists and artisans to share their expertise.
