An online Workshop-cum-Training on “Robotics” was organized by the Department of MCA, Patna Women’s College on 16th April, 2022. Mr. Abhishek Anand from NIT Patna, Patna was the resource person. Students of MCA semester-II (2021-2023) attended the Workshop-cum-Training on ‘Robotics’, where they got the concept of motor controlling and implementation of that concept to build “Self-Driving Car”.

He had discussed about “Robots & Robotics”. A robot is a type of automated machine that can execute specific tasks with little or no human intervention and with speed and precision. Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots. Further, he had explained the first use of the word Robotics, 4R’s of Robotics, Robotics Technology. He had also discussed how to make robotic project using Arduino, features of Arduino, types of Arduino Board, sketch structure of Arduino etc. Moreover, implementation of Arduino were also discussed via live session.

The Welcome address was given by Dr. Bhawna Sinha, Head, Assistant Professor, Department of MCA and Vote of thanks was given by Mr. Braj Kishor Prasad, Assistant Professor, Department of MCA, Patna Women’s College.

The faculty members Dr. Bhawna Sinha, Ms. Sushmita Chakarborthy, Mr. Praveen Kumar, Mr. Braj Kishor Prasad, Assistant Professors, of Department of MCA, Patna Women’s College were present online.
