An educational visit the institutional kitchen of Kurji Holy Family Hospital

The Department of Home Science had organised an educational visit for the P.G Final year students to the institutional kitchen of Kurji Holy Family Hospital on 28.10.2024 at 11:00 am along with two teachers. The hospital’s kitchen serves meals on a daily basis to the patients, staff and visitors. The students were shown quantity cooking and commercial equipments like- traditional oven, manual extruder machine, chapati plate with puffer, smoke hood, traditional cooking uruli etc. The students observed and understood the efficient meal production and service techniques, efficient use of space and layout. The students gained valuable insights into the operational dynamics of a hospital kitchen.
