On February 25th, 2025 Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) Patna University, organised it’s annual VIGYAN UTSAV 2025. As a part of the celebration the Department of Physics and Statistics jointly hosted “Akshay Urja”- A NUKKAD NATAK Competition on the theme ” Environment to Energy: Towards balance”.
The event took place at 1:00 pm in the college’s basketball court. The event was impactful as well as creative which covered the social issues through the medium of street theatre.

It was an Inter-College event in which a total of nine teams competed, with seven groups representing Patna Women’s College, while the other two teams were from Magadh Mahila College (MMC) and St. Xavier’s College of Management and Technology, Patna. Each team delivered an enthralling performance.
The event was judged by
Dr. Manjula Shushila, Head, Department of Hindi, Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas, Co-ordinator of Performing Arts and Dr. Priyanka, Assistant Professor, Department of History, Patna Women’s College.

1st Prize was bagged by Prasun Kashyap and team, St. Xavier’s College of Management and Technology, Patna.
2nd Prize was achieved Shafaq Fatima and team ,Microbiology, PWC
3rd prize was given to Annu Priya Prasad and team, Botany, PWC.

The event was well co-ordinated by Dr. Kavita Verma, Head, Department of Physics, Dr. Moon, Head, Department of Statistics, Dr. Riekshika Sanwari, Mr. Dharmendra Rai, Mr. Lalit Kumar Sharma, Dr. Chandni Kumari, Ms. Nishtha Bharadwaj and Ms. Monika Rashmi. The anchors for the event were Ms. Elis Bara and Ms. Akanksha from Sem 2 , Department of Physics, PWC.
