The Department of Botany, Patna Women’s College, organised Freshers’ Day on 29/07/2025. The program started with a prayer dance by Chelsi priya and Sneha kumari. The guests Dr. Celine Crasta A.C., Head Department of History and Ms. Komal Kumari, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, were warmly welcomed with a plant sapling. On behalf of the department, Dr. Urvashi Sinha welcomed the guests and extended heart felt best wishes to the freshers for a successful new academic journey ahead. A melodious group song by Diva Singh and group was presented followed by a rampwalk by all the freshers. An enchanting group dance showcasing different cultures of our country was presented by Samiksha and the group. Hindi poetry by Muskan and English poetry by Sneha touched the hearts of everyone present . The guests enlightened the occasion with their observations and words of wisdom. Roshini, code no.26, was judged as Ms. Fresher 2025.
The program was very well moderated by the anchors Prashansha and Tasmia . All the teaching and non teaching staff of the department were present during the program.
