Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) Patna University through its Commerce and Management Club in collaboration with the Department of Commerce, successfully organized a Financial Awareness Programme on the theme of Financial Literacy on March 17, 2025. The event aimed to educate students about digital finance and investment decision-making, particularly in the context of Generation Z. The resource person for the session was Dr. CS Reena Kumari, PhD, IIM Ranchi, and Assistant Professor, BML Munjal University, Gurgaon. She provided expert insights into the evolving landscape of digital finance and the critical choices young investors face today. Her interactive approach and real-world examples enriched the learning experience for attendees. The session was graced by Dr. Soofia Fatima, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management and Head, Department of Commerce, and CS Shweta Shah, Coordinator, Commerce Profession. The session was coordinated by Mr. Gautam Saurabh, Coordinator, Kaizen, Commerce and Management Club, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, Ms Yosha Singh, Co-Coordinator, Kaizen, Commerce and Mangement Club, Assistant Professor, Department of Advertising and Marketing Management . It was attended by Ms. Sagarika Upadhyay, Ms Mona, Ms Neha Kumari, Ms Sohini, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, and Ms. Puja Kumari, Cultural Coordinator, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce. The session was moderated by Ms. Sania Ambreen, Vice President of the Commerce and Management Club (AMM, Semester VI). The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ms. Nadia Nadeem, Treasurer of the Commerce and Management Club (BBA, Semester VI). The session helped students understand the know-how of digital finance, investment risks, and smart financial planning. The interactive format encouraged discussions, enabling students to critically analyse their financial choices and build confidence in managing their finances. The event concluded on a high note, with participants expressing gratitude for the opportunity to gain practical knowledge about financial literacy and investment strategies.
