One Day National Webinar on Recent Trends on Mathematics
On 29 November 2024 Department of Mathematics of Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) and Department of Mathematics of St. Philomena’s College (Autonomous), Mysore jointly organized a One Day National Webinar on Recent Trends on Mathematics , beginning with a welcome ceremony and an opening prayer to set the tone for the event. The first sessions , led by Dr. Bharatha K (PG Head, Department of Mathematics,St Philomena college), provided valuable insights on the topic Differential Equations in Plasma Physics, Optical Communications, engaging participants with practical ideas and thought-provoking discussions. Following this, Dr. Ravi Kumar (Head, Department of Mathematics, Patna Women’s College) conducted the second session, focusing on the topic Application of Ordinary Differential equation in Real Life, where he shared his expertise and offered fresh perspectives in mathematical modelling. Both sessions were highly interactive, knowledge gaining and tells how to think mathematics in real life leaving the audience with actionable knowledge and inspiration. The webinar concluded successfully, fostering learning and collaboration between the two esteemed institutions. After the program there was a thanking speech by Dr. Bhartha K . Program ends with National Anthem.
