Brief Report:

An online Workshop-cum-Training on “Robotics” was organized by the Department of Computer Applications (MCA), Patna Women’s College on 16th April 2022. Mr. Abhishek Anand from NIT Patna was the resource person. Students got the concept of motor controlling and implementation of that concept to build “Self-Driving Car”.

He had discussed “Robots & Robotics”. A robot is a type of automated machine that can execute specific tasks with little or no human intervention and with speed and precision. Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots. Further, he explained the first use of the word Robotics, 4 R’s of Robotics, Robotics Technology. He had also discussed how to make robotic projects using Arduino, features of Arduino, types of Arduino Board, sketch structure of Arduino etc. Moreover, implementation of Arduino was also discussed via live session.

The Welcome address was given by Dr. Bhawna Sinha, Head, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications (MCA) and Vote of thanks was given by Mr. Braj Kishor Prasad, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications (MCA), Patna Women’s College.
