Brief Report:

The Department of Computer Applications (MCA) conducted a Workshop on Graphic Design in collaboration with Loons India on 16-09-2022. The speakers for the session were Mr. Sakanksha Deo – Co-Founder & Head of Strategy, and Ms. Meenakshi Co-Founder & Head of Operation, Loons. The session started with the welcome address given by Dr. Bhawna Sinha, Head, Department of Computer Applications (MCA).

In this digital era, Graphic Design is an essential element for designing attractive visual content for Social Media platforms, logo designing or website designing. During this programme students learnt about Graphic Design, its applications, and prospects. They emphasized that in this digital era, designing is the future.

From designing a simple business card to designing websites & digital marketing – it’s unstoppable. Visual communication is in demand, and it takes a designer to imagine all its possibilities. To change the objective of designing from aesthetics to communication, this profession needs visual thinking skills, socializing, perpetual learning (per technology), and comprehending the market needs.
