Poster Making Competition 20th July 2023

Department of English conducted a Poster Making Competition on the theme “The History of Western Philosophy” on 20th July, 2023. The students of BA Semester 5 participated in the competition. The posters were judged by Dr. Shahla Rehana, Associate Professor and Dr. Prabhat Jha, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Patna Women’s College.
The students through their creative posters presented the different periods and phases of Western Philosophy, which included the Ancient Greek philosophers of the Pre-Socratic and Socratic Age, Medieval philosophies related to Catholic Scholasticism, Modern philosophies related to Enlightenment, Modernism and Postmodernism.
The winning groups were:
1st Position – Group 9
2nd Position – Group 2 & 5
3rd Position – Group 7
