Workshop Amrit Yuva Kalotsav 2023-24

On 26th July 2023, the Final year students of Department of Mass Communication were taken to Premchand Rangshala, Rajendra Nagar for a workshop organised by Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi. The workshop was organised under Amrit Yuva Kalotsav 2023-24.
Sanjay Upadhyay, Vinod Anupam, Vijay Ghate, Ashish Kumar Mishra, and Vinay Kumar served on the workshop panel. Ashish Kumar introduced Amrit Yuva Kalotsav, a cultural festival put on by Sangeet Natak Akademi to commemorate 75 years of Indian freedom, at the beginning of the session.He mentioned that this event is the 19th in India that is part of the Amrit Yuva Kalotsav 2023–2024. Sanjay Upadhyay then continued by discussing his opinions on Art Review. He emphasised how few art reviewers there are in India.
Proceeding forward, Sanjay Upadhyay expressed his views on Art Review. . He emphasised how the absence of art knowledge contributes to the shortage of art critics in India. He exhorted all of the in-attendance students to develop a stronger interest in art appreciation. He also went over several potential study areas for the arts with the students. The other industry gurus also discussed their opinions on reviewing art. A Q&A session was held following the workshop. From this session, all of the in- attendance students learned in-depth information about art reviews.
