On 2nd April, a guest lecture on Reiki was organised fir the students of Add-On Course in Stress Management. The resource person was Professor Kanak Verma (Retd), Director, IPRS, Patna University. 36 students from Stress Management Course and the teachers from Psychology Dept. participated in the session.

 

 

On 6th April, a speech competition was organised in online mode on the topic ‘Women in Psychology’. Students of UG II, UG IV and PG II semester participated in the competition. The Competition was organised for the purpose of gender sensitization. The Competition was judged by Dr. Meena Kishore (Retd.), Head & Associate Professor, Department of Psychology, Patna Women’s College. Archisha Prachi, Puja Kumari, and Nitya Bansal secured the 1st position in the competition. Rishita Sinha and Pragati Priya secured the 2nd position and Akriti Raj and Shivangi Raj secured the 3rd position.

 

 

On 22nd April, UG 2nd semester made posters on the topic “Investing in our Earth” to celebrate ‘World Earth Day’.

 

 

From 25th to 29th April, an interactive workshop was organised for the mothers of UG 1st year students. The workshop was titled as “Rediscovering Mother-Daughter Bonding”. There were three resource persons: Dr. Shubham Shree, Medical Service Officer, Department of Community Medicine, IGIMS, Patna; Dr. Shruti Narain, Assistant Professor , Department of Psychology, Patna Women’s College, Patna and Ms. Mukta Mrinalini, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Patna Women’s College, Patna.
The purpose of the workshop was to aware the audience with the changing scenario so that the daughters can open up with their mothers and become each other’s support.
