On 2nd May, a Poster Competition on the theme “Yoga for Humanity” was organised for students of UG 4th semester. Three groups were selected for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize: Puja Kumari and Group, Srishti Kumari and Group and Nancy Bharati and Group respectively. A slogan writing competition was also organised on the theme “yoga for Humanity” for the students of UG 2nd semester. Anushka Manushi secured the first position in the competition, Nitya Bansal and Saamiya Ahmad stood at 2nd position and Divya Suman stood at 3rd position.

 

 

On 26th May, farewell for students of M.A. Applied Psychology (2020-2022) was organised. M.A. 1st year students facilitated the programme by performing a dance and conducting some games. The passing students shared their experiences, and the teachers wished them luck for their future endeavours.

 

 

On 28th May, an online lecture was organised for celebrating the ‘Mental Health Awareness Month 2022’. The guest speaker was Dr. Tushar Singh, D.Phil, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, U.P. The topic of the lecture was “Enhancing Well-being among Youth”. The teachers from the Dept. of Psychology and students from all semesters of UG and PG attended the lecture.
