Power Point presentation Competition on Internship/ Field Work
On August 27 2024, The Department of Social Work, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) Patna University organized a PowerPoint Presentation Competition on Internship / Field work Projects. The students displayed their internship reports and explained the work done under different projects of various organisations. The session started with the introduction of their organizations in which they were working as a trainee. They discussed about the various Government schemes and programmes and research projects the organizations were associated with, like VHSND’ PMSMA, GRA “Google Read Along” app etc.They displayed research tools and techniques used in their work under various projects under the broad areas like healthcare, education, livelihood creation and youth empowerment, etc. under which they worked in various skill development centres and communities where they got a chance to work with Bihar Co-operative Society Bank, Piramal Foundation and associated vocational centres in the communities. Towards the end of their presentations the students displayed their observations and major learning outcomes along with the challenges in the field. They also supported their work with the help of Annexures. Every student’s presentation was assessed individually and valuable suggestions and ideas were given to enhance their work. The session ended by the result declaration and valuable feedbacks given by the judges Mr. Alok John, Dean – National, International Collaborations and Consultancy Services, Dr. Mridul Mishra, Head, Department of Social Work and Sister Sanjana A.C., Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work Patna Women’s College. Moni Sharma of Sem III secured the first position followed by Palak Agarwal of Sem III in the second and Muskan Kumari of Sem III secured the third place, Department of Social Work.
