Brief Report-

A Tree Plantation Programme was organized by the ECO Task Force (Student Environment Club of Patna Women’s College) on 20th August 2020 within the College Campus. Various saplings including Mango, Java Plum, Litchi, Cashew, Chikoo, and Jack Fruit were planted by the teachers from the Department of Zoology. The program was led by Dr. Shahla Yasmin, Vice President of the ECO Task Force and Dean of the Science Faculty. The teachers who were present during the event included Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, Dr. Sister Stuti A.C., Dr. Sapna Kumari, Mr. Sumeet Ranjan, and Mr. Rajiv Ranjan. Members of the ECO Task Force and non-teaching staff from the Science Department also attended the Tree Plantation Programme. The primary objective was to create awareness about the significance of tree plantation in preserving our planet. Students actively participated in the activity and gained knowledge about the methods and importance of tree plantation. The entire event was successfully conducted under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous.
