“Women and the glass ceiling” as a part of Women’s Day

On 13th March 2023, the Department of Home Science had organised a poster making competition on the theme “Women and the glass ceiling” as a part of Women’s Day celebration. The students of semesters ll, lV and VI U.G. and semester II of P.G. participated in the competition. They covered issues like gender discrimination, domestic violence, girl child education, child marriage and many such issues that women go through in their daily life. At the department level, it was judged
by the department faculty members, Dr. Suniti Bhagat, Dr. Rosy Kumari and Dr. Nisha Kumari. The winners of the competition were:
1st position: Group 7 – Mahrukh Mumtaz, Anamika Vats, Shiwani Kumari (U.G. Semester IV),
2nd Position: Group 6 – Maria Talat, Adeeba Afrin, Richa (U.G. semester VI)
3rd Position : Group 5 – Sneha Kumari, Binish Zubia, Pratibha Rani (U.G semester VI) & Group 11 – Huzaifa Parwez, Muskan Raj, Khushboo Kumari (U.G. semester IV).
