On the occasion of World Environment Day an Online Quiz Contest was organized by ECO Task Force, Patna Women’s College Patna. Topic of the contest was “Threats and solutions to environment Pollutants”. The main objective was to spread awareness about environmental pollutants, its threats and ways to curb it. Students of semester III and V of Zoology department actively participated in this quiz contest. This event was organized in online mode due to current Covid Pandemic. The students actively participated in the online quiz contest to enrich their knowledge and showcase their information.

Brief Report-
On the occasion of World Environment Day, the ECO Task Force, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University, organized a Speech Contest on the Theme: ‘Positive and Negative Impacts of Lockdown on Environment’. This was a very relevant topic in present scenario of lockdown due to Covid pandemic situation because the way of living of every person has been affected by this disease. The main objective was to provide the students the opportunity to improve their speaking abilities and raise awareness about the topic. Students participated actively and showcased their ideas in a very powerful way and also explained the positive and negative impacts of lockdown on environment.

Poster contest

Brief Report-

The ECO Task Force, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University, organized Poster Competition on the Theme: ‘Alternative to curb Plastic Pollution’. 86 students from various departments participated in the competition. The main objective was to spread awareness about the hazards caused by discarded plastics to facilitate a behavioral change in plastic consumption. The students were very creative with their posters and the posters depicted the cause splendidly.
