Brief Report–
To spread awareness about Wetlands and the role it plays for restoring biodiversity A Poster Making Contest was organized on the occasion of ‘World Wetland Day’ by ECO Task Force of Patna Women’s College. Theme of this Poster Making Contest was ‘Wetland Biodiversity’. 3rd year students of Zoology Department participated in this event. The main objective was to raise global awareness about the vital role of Wetlands and Biodiversity, for people and planet. They made some very impactful posters with strong massage in the direction of Wetland conservation and the services it provide to the nature. Sumeet Ranjan, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology; Rajeev Ranjan Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology and Sapna Kumari Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology judged this contest. Through this Poster Making Contest students learned about importance of Wetlands and their role in Biodiversity conservation.
