World Population Day

On the occasion of World Population Day (11.07.2022), the ECO Task Force and Department of Zoology, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University, Patna, is organizing a two day programme (10th and 11th July, 2023) to create awareness among the students. On the first day of programme, A Poster Making Contest was organised on 10th July 2023 in the Zoology Department. Poster Making Contest was a group event and a total of 31 groups (93 participants) of different departments took part. Theme of the Poster making contest was “Adopt family planning as a choice for happiness and prosperity”
Judges of Poster Making Contest were

Dr. Sumeet Ranjan, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology
Winners were
1st Prize : Apoorva Prasad, Shailja Kumari and Nainsi Raj ; Sem V, Zoology
2nd Prize : Shivanjali Priya, Swadha, and Anshika Singh, Sem V , Economics
& Rishika, Parul Raj and Aditi Raj; Sem V, Zoology
3rd Prize : Amisha Kumari, Prerna Singh and Sweta Jha; Sem III, Zoology &
Sakshi Soni, Gyanvee and Chhavi Swasti, Sem III, Zoology
Consolation : Deepika Shree, Alisha Jahan and Sargam Verma; Sem III, Zoology

The programme was conducted by the teachers of Department of Zoology, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, PU. The teachers present were Dr. Sapna Kumari, Dr. Neetu, Dr. Sumeet Ranjan, Mr Rajeev Ranjan, and Ms Aishwarya Shree, Assistant Professors of Dept of Zoology, Patna Women’s College. The programme was a grand success.
