Human Chain on World Population Day

On the occasion of World Population Day, 11th July, 2023, Department of Zoology and ECO Task Force, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous organized a ‘Human Chain’ at the PWC College Gate in collaboration with NSS, Patna Women’s College, to spread awareness among the people about the adverse effects of Population explosion. 100 ETF members and around 70 NSS members participated in this event. Students were very excited and displayed many placards with strong messages for the society.
This event was organized under the supervision of Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, Head, Department of Zoology and Vice President ETF and Dr. Sister Stuti A.C., Secretory ETF and Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology. Dr. Sumeet Ranjan, Dr Neetu, Dr Sapna, Mr Rajeev Ranjan, Ms Aishwarya and Ms Ankita of Department of Zoology, actively participated and managed the Human chain formation. Coordinators of NSS, Dr Shahla Rehana, Department of English and Dr Amrita, Department of Physics, also participated in the Human Chain Formation.
