A Report on One-Day Workshop on “Implementation Challenges of RFID Technology & LMS Integration” Organized by Rapid Radio Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Patna Women’s College on 25th February 2023.
With an objective to acquaint the library professionals with knowledge of RFID technology Rapid Radio Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Patna Women’s College jointly organized a one day workshop for library professionals in the Central Library of Patna Women’s College on 25th February, 2023.
The workshop was inaugurated by lighting the lamp and offering flowers and mementos to the dignitaries as a mark of gratitude. The lamp lighting ceremony was lead by Ms. Anjali Kumari Sinha, Librarian Patna Women’s College, Mr. Jitendra Kumar, Sr. Librarian, Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi and Mr. Tushar Popat, Library RFID Projects & Sales Head, Rapid Radio Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
This was followed by the college anthem which was sung by the Library staff of Patna Women’s College. Kumari Vandana, Assistant Librarian, Patna Women’s College, welcomed the dignitaries and participants and introduced all the resource persons.
The resource persons were Mr. Subhankar Barman, Technical Executive, Koha Desk, Rapid Radio Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Kaushik Singha, Regional Project Manager- Library Automation, Rapid Radio Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Tushar Popat, Mr. Jitendra Kumara, Md. Jahangir Alam, Computer Professional, Patna Women’s College Library and Mr. Ritesh Jaiswal, Installation and Technical Support Engineer, Rapid Radio Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
The Important topics covered during the workshop include:

The participants showed keen interest in the workshop. Overall 65 library professionals participated from different institutions. This workshop was a good learning experience for the participants. Kumari Vandana, Assistant Librarian, Patna Women’s College has put her efforts towards anchoring the workshop.
Ms. Moumita Adhikari, Assistant Librarian, Patna Women’s College proposed the Vote of Thanks. She extended thanks to the Principal, Patna Women’s College, all the distinguished guests, the staff of Patna Women’s College & Rapid Radio Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and all participants present in the workshop.
Workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates to participants by Ms. Anjali Kumar Sinha, Mr. Tushar Popat and Mr. Jitendra Kumar.
The workshop was a successful one. The participants gained first hand information and knowledge of the technologies used in the Central Library of Patna Women’s College.
