The College Annual Day was celebrated on 20.01.2018. Sanjana Shah from the Department of Zoology received the Best AICUFer award. She was awarded a certificate and an amount of Rs. 3000/-.

The College organized Thanksgiving Day for the outgoing students of the College. All the Christian students of part III participated in the programme.
22nd to 25th March 2018
In honor of the closing of the ‘Year of the Bible 2017-18’, the Patna Archdiocese organized a four – day ‘Bible Convention’ for the youth of the Archdiocese. Ten students; Sanjana Shah, Srijan Suprakash, Helina Mundu, Nikunj, Prerna Albert, Veni Priya, Priyanka, Neha Kullu, Salen Tirkey, took part in the programme. Five of the students performed a prayer dance for the inaugural function, which was appreciated by all.

In honor of the 150 years of the establishment day of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation, a special Mass was arranged for all the Christian students of Patna Women’s College. Sister Marie Jessie A.C, Principal Patna Women’s College, addressed the gathering and gave them the message for the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. This was the first gathering for the Academic Session 2018- 19. The A.C. sisters conducted the choir and the students saw to the Mass readings and the intentions. Alma Soren gave a short introduction before the Mass. Fr. Manish S.J was the main celebrant. After Mass, the scapulars were blessed and distributed. The students were also given one chocolate each.

AICUF election was held on 17.07.2018 (Tuesday) in the College Prayer Room. The number of students present was 22. The following students were elected, President, Secretary, and treasurer respectively for the academic year 2018-19.

The State Advisor and Youth President Fr. Anthonysamy and his team visited Patna Women’s College and briefed the students about AICUF. The programme began with a short prayer service conducted by Sister Nelsa A.C. the Unit Advisor. After the prayer, the guests were welcomed with floral bouquets, by Sushmita Murmu, AICUF president Patna Women’s College Unit. All the five members of the team addressed the students and one of them conducted two games for the students which they enjoyed thoroughly. Liza Pallavi the AICUF secretary proposed the vote of thanks. This programme was followed by the Eucharistic Celebration in the Convent Chapel and the main celebrant was Fr. Anthony Samy. The hostel sisters and the students saw to the Mass singing and the readings and prayers of the faithful were seen to by the students of Arts Stream.
9th August 2018 celebrate Christmas
Adivasi Sanskritik Avam Samajik Kalyan Sangh, Kurji, Patna and St. Xavier’s Colleges jointly organized a half-day Workshop on “International Day for Indigenous People” on August 9th, 2018, Thursday at 3:00 PM. in St. Xavier’s College Campus. The Workshop aimed at spreading awareness and enlightenment to the new generation regarding the state of indigenous people. Fourteen (14) Catholic students from various streams from Patna Women’s College participated in the Workshop and benefitted a lot from it.

A Half Day programme was organized for the AICUF students. Fr. Raymond Cherubim S.J was the Resource person. Sessions were conducted on “CHRISTIAN DISCIPLESHIP”. The programme was concluded with a Holy Mass. Sister Nelsa AC the Coordinator for AICUF introduced the Resource Person and Liza Pallavi the Secretary proposed the Vote of Thanks.

The AICUF family Patna Women’s College Unit, welcomed and congratulated the new principal of the college Dr. Sister Maria Rashmi A.C., during the General Assembly specially organized for this event. After a welcome speech, the student representatives greeted Sister Rashmi with a greeting song and a card and a bouquet was offered.
A Talk on “ Creating Socially Committed Leaders” was organized for all the AICUF members of the college. A hundred and odd students participated in the programme. The resource person was Mr. Alok John. The session was very interesting and interactive and the students benefited a lot form it. Sister Nelsa A.C, the Coordinator for AICUF introduced the resource person and Ananya of B.SC part III proposed the vote of thanks.
8th September 2018
On the occasion of the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a special Mass was organized for all the Christian students of the college. The students also celebrated the day as the ‘ Girl Child Day’. The Mass started with a procession with each one holding a flower to offer it to Mother Mary. Alma Soren, a BSc. The student gave a short introduction to the Mass. The Liturgy was seen to by the third year students. Fr. Johnson K. S.J was the main celebrant for the day. After Mass, each student was given one chocolate each. The whole programme was very meaningful.
7th – 10th October 2018
Bihar State AICUF organized a Four Day Youth programme on the theme ‘Today’s Youth Tomorrow’s Destiny: Analysing Environmental Degradation and its implications on Bihar’. Eighteen students from Patna Women’s College from the various departments participated in the programme. The students had an enjoyable and enriching experience. Five of the students performed the opening dance. A few of the students took part in the traditional dance.
11th October 2018
A General Assembly was held for all the Christian students of the college followed by Holy Mass in the Avila Convent Chapel. Fr. Rajesh S.J was the celebrant.
15th – 17th October 2018
Patna Archdiocese celebrated “Bible Mahotsav” as part of the concluding ceremony of the “Year of the Bible” from 15th October to 17th October 2018. Fifteen members from Patna Women’s College participated in the in the celebration. Nine students presented a dance a Biblical thematic dance on the life of Samaritan Woman. It was performed beautifully and the audience enjoyed it. The ceremony concluded with the Eucharistic Celebration.
3rd – 6th November 2018
National camp of AYCM (Adivasi YuvaChetnaManch) was held at Chetna, Burdwan, West Bengal from 03.11.2018 to 06. 11. 2018. There were five students who participated in this Camp. They performed a traditional Adivasi dance at the cultural evening.
17th and 18th November 2018
A two-day Annual Retreat was organized for all the Christian students of the College. Fr. Santosh D’ Souza Ofm. was the Retreat Preacher. The programme started with Welcoming the Retreat preacher by Sister Nelsa A.C. the AICUF coordinator Patna Women’s College unit. Alma Binny a student representative welcomed Fr. Santhosh with a floral bouquet. The retreat began at 9.30 A.M. and concluded at 4.30 P.M. During the daylong programme, there were four sessions each day, Eucharistic Adoration, Holy Mass and Confessions. The students were served tea, along with snacks in the morning and evening and lunch at noon.
16th December 2018
The Christian Parents’ Day- Celebration of Christmas with the Christian students of the college and their parents, was celebrated with joy and enthusiasm by the Christian students. Around a hundred and fifty parents and students participated in the programme. The session began with an opening address by Sister Nelsa A.C, AICUF Coordinator Patna Women’s College. Fr. Michael Ignatius was the resource person for the day. Talk, Confessions and Holy Mass was organized. After the Holy Mass, a short cultural programme was put up by the students, followed by games for males, females, and students separately – conducted by Mrs. ManjulaSusheela and Ms. Ashrita. After the games were over, a sumptuous meal was served in the Hostel Mess for all the participants.

The College organized the Christmas Carol Competition. Two groups from AICUF participated in the event. The English singing group secured the second prize.
20th December 2018
The college celebrated Christmas with joy and mirth. The Christian students took part in many of the events. A group of students from AICUF wing performed an Adivasi Dance on the occasion.
