Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University, successfully organized its much-anticipated Alumnae Meet 2025 on 21st December 2025 at 4:30 p.m. onwards, bringing together alumni, faculty members, and students to celebrate shared memories, achievements, and enduring bonds.

.

The programme commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp, symbolizing knowledge, wisdom, and continuity. This was followed by an inspiring address by the Chairperson, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College, who warmly welcomed the alumnae and emphasized the significance of lifelong association between the institution and its graduates.

The programme was followed by the presentation given the Vice Chairperson of the PWCAA, Dr. Ameeta Jaiswal, Head, PG Department of Philosophy, Patna University, who highlighted the growth, achievements, and future vision of the Alumnae Association.

The cultural segment added vibrancy and youthful energy to the programme. Melodious English Carol sung by student sisters.
A melodious Teachers’ Group Song set a soulful and nostalgic tone for the evening, reflecting the deep bond between faculty members and alumni(A choir performance by the teachers)

A graceful and expressive Student Council Dance beautifully showcased unity, creativity, and the dynamic spirit of Patna Women’s College, receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience

The celebration continued with a lively and energetic Teachers’ Group Dance, reflecting the faculty’s enthusiasm and spirit of togetherness, and culminated in a spectacular Grand Finale that symbolized unity, joy, and celebration.

This was followed by the release of Melak, the annually published Alumnae Magazine, celebrating the voices, journeys, and accomplishments of the college’s alumni.

The evening was further enriched by a soulful solo singing performance by Ms. Puja Upadhayay, alumna of the Department of History, whose rendition captivated the audience and added a melodious charm to the celebration.

Engaging activities such as Game of Finding the Star and Musical Chairs fostered interaction, laughter, and camaraderie among the alumnae.

A deeply inspiring experience-sharing session by Ms. Shashi Uban Tripathi, Indian High Commissioner, Canada, offered valuable insights into leadership, perseverance, and global service, leaving a lasting impact on the audience.

The programme was gracefully moderated by Ms. Yosha Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Advertising and Marketing Management, Patna Women’s College, and Dr. Zareen Fatima, Head, Department of Economics, Patna Women’s College.

The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Yosha Singh, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, alumni, organizers, and participants for making the event a memorable success.
