A Report

Patna Women’s College is a premier institution, whose hallmark has always been Quality and Excellence. The Alumni Association of Patna Women’s College organized a short programme to celebrate “Christmas Milan” with Transgender Friends and Rickshaw Pullers on 23rd December 2020. It was celebrated with about 150 transgender friends at 10:30 a.m. in the basketball court of the college, followed by the programme with about 150 Rickshaw pullers that began at 11:30 a.m. Only Carol Song was performed by the sisters of Patna Women’s College. No games and cultural programmes were held due to Covid’19 Pandemic.

The programme was compered by Dr. Amrita Chowdhury, IQAC Coordinator, Patna Women’s College and Dr. Aprajita Krishna, Head, of Physics Department.

Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College gave the Christmas message to the transgender friends and rickshaw pullers and distributed gifts to them.

The members of the Alumni Association of Patna Women’s College were also present and they too distributed food packets and gifts to the Transgender Friends and Rickshaw pullers.
