Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) marked Van Mahotsava on July 24, 2025, at 12:00 pm with an engaging Poster Making Competition on the theme “Restore Our Forest.”
This event, open to all departments, saw enthusiastic participation from 57 students of Botany Semester I. Working in groups of three to six, students showcased remarkable artistic talent and thoughtful interpretations of the theme. The competition was meticulously organized under the supervision of Dr. Pinky Prasad, Head of the Department of Botany. The creative and impactful posters were judged by Dr. Urvashi Sinha and Dr. Hena Naz.
Among the many impressive entries, the poster created by Ujala Kumari and her group stood out, earning them the opportunity for further evaluation. Their exceptional work subsequently secured a commendable third rank at the college level, highlighting the students’ dedication to environmental awareness and artistic expression.
