Department of Physics, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) Patna University organised a guest lecture on the theme “Current Research Trends in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology” on August 7th, 2024 at 1:00 pm in MVIEC Hall, 4th floor, Science Block for the students of B.Sc Physics. The resource person was Prof. (Dr) Samrat Mukherjee, Department of Physics, NIT Patna, Bihar.

The event started with an introductory message by Dr. Kavita Verma, Head of Department Physics, Patna Women’s College. Then Dr Amrita, Assistant Professor, Patna Women’s College offered a plant sapling to the esteemed guest. The event kicked off with a brief discussion about the concepts of Nanoscience, the rules it follows and many more. He discussed his research work with the students and also shared various important points related to the topic. It was a very fruitful and enlightening session, the students had a great learning experience.
At last the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Lalit Kumar Sharma, Assistant Professor, Patna Women’s College. All the teachers of the Department of Physics were present for the event.
