Poster Making Competition 2024
Anti-Ragging Day was observed on August 12th, with Anti-Ragging Week extending from August 12th to 18th. This initiative, led by the UGC, seeks to raise awareness and promote a zero-tolerance policy toward ragging in educational institutions nationwide.
To support this initiative, the Department of Home Science at Patna Women’s College organized a Poster Making Competition on August 17, 2023, in observance of Anti-Ragging Week. The competition aimed to encourage students to embrace and uphold anti-ragging practices on campus. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The competition was judged by the department’s faculty members, with the following students emerging as winners:
- 1st Prize Sonali Sharma and Juli Kumari (U.G. Semester V)
- 2nd Prize: Antara Som, Rashmi Kumari and Sister Pribola Kindu (U.G. Semester I)
- 3rd Prize: Srishti, Riya and Syeda Ayesha (U.G. Semester V) and Vedika Kumari, Sadhna Kumari and Sana Afreen (U.G. Semester I)
This competition played a crucial role in promoting a campus environment that is safe, respectful, and free from ragging.
