 On 8th March, 2022, students of performing arts performed a Nukkad Natak named ‘Stree Azadi’ on the occasion of International Women’s Day “Ojaswini”. The storyline of the

Nukkad Natak was based on the struggles and achievements of women in India, they also showcased the conditions of women from different working classes. The play consisted of poems written by famous poets Kamla Bhasin and Pushyamitra Upadhaya, there was a dance performance on the song Kaari Kaari and a group song on Mardani anthem. The program was part of the Performing Arts workshop and the students were given marks based on their performance and creativity. The entire play was directed by Miss Enakshi Dey Biswas, Coordinator, Performing Arts.
