Brief Report–
Patna Women’s College organizes Annual College day “Virasat” every year. The programme commenced with flag hoisting followed by the College anthem ‘Hey Manav’. Students performed a mesmerizing Prayer Dance along with a Welcome Song and another Dance Performance. The Principal of Patna Women’s College, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C. addressed the gathering and praised the students for their hard work. The highlight of the day was the Miss PWC Contest. The first and second round was judged on the basis of Ramp Walk and the third round was based on a Question and Answer session. Contestants were judged on basis of Personality, Confidence, Grace, Attire as well as their Looks. The title of Miss PWC was bagged by Isha from English Dept., the first Runner up was Anam from Sociology Dept. and the Second Runner up was Shristi from History Dept. The entire event was coordinated by the Cultural Coordinators Dr. Sister M. Tanisha C., Head, Department of Home Science, Ms. Papita Dey Biswas, Coordinator, Performing Arts and Ms. Samiksha Sinha, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology.
