MSW-Value-based Personality Class 2024
Theme: “Focus on yourself – comparison steals your growth”
On 31st August 2024, the Department of Social Work organized a Value-based personality class on the theme” Focus on you: comparison steals your growth”. The facilitator was Sister Sanjana A.C., Assistant Professor, of the Department of Social Work. The students were shown a motivational video with the message “Focus on yourself- comparison steals your growth” which resonates deeply with our daily experiences. we have often found ourselves distracted by the achievements of others, which can create feelings of inadequacy. However, when we center our energy on our journey, we realize that everyone’s path is unique. Growth is personal, and comparing ourselves to others often leads to unnecessary pressure, pulling us away from our progress. Each day, we remind ourselves that our pace, struggles, and victories are mine alone. By focusing on our path, we embrace growth as a steady and fulfilling process, free from the shadows of comparison.
