ONLINE LECTURE-2024
The Department of Philosophy, Patna Women’s College in collaboration with the Department of Philosophy, Nirmala College, Ranchi organized a lecture on the topic “The Relevance of Philosophy”.
Dr. Ameeta Jaiswal, Professor and Head, Department of Philosophy, Patna Women’s College spoke on the importance, scope, and job opportunities for a student of Philosophy. She also spoke about Research Methodology.
Dr. Ranju Kumari, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Philosophy, Nirmala College explained the subject matter of Philosophy and why it is important to study philosophy, and how Philosophy inculcates values in the students.
Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Keerti Chaudhary, Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy, Patna Women’s College.
All the faculty members and students of Philosophy of both the college were present.
The lecture from the resource persons of both the colleges was very beneficial for the students of Philosophy as they also came to know the career options in Philosophy.
