Brief Report–
On April 27th, 2023, the ECO Task Force of Patna Women’s College collaborated with the Eco Club of Nirmala College, Ranchi, to organize an online Earth Day Celebration Programme. The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome address by Dr. Sister Jyoti, the Principal of Nirmala College, Ranchi. A total of 24 students participated in the event, representing both colleges. Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, the Head of the Department of Zoology and Vice President of the ECO Task Force at Patna Women’s College, enlightened the students about the significance of celebrating Earth Day. Additionally, Dr. Emma Rani Seraphim, the Head of the Department of Zoology at Nirmala College, Ranchi, organized a quiz competition for the students. The event concluded with an interactive session among the students, where they shared their experiences of attending the session. The entire event was successfully organized under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., the Principal of Patna Women’s College.
