Quiz competition on breastfeeding,

In series of program to mark the World Breast Feeding Promotion Week, the Department of Home Science organised a quiz competition on breastfeeding, with the aim of creating awareness and assessing knowledge about the importance of breastfeeding among students. The competition held on August 6th, 2024 in Room no. 30 at 12 Noon. The quiz covered topics such as benefits of breastfeeding, breastfeeding techniques, common challenges, and nutrition for lactating mothers.The competition not only tested knowledge but also fostered a sense of community and support for breastfeeding mothers, aligning with the department’s mission to promote holistic well-being. The program was organised by Dr. Nisha Kumari, Assistant Professor, Department of Home Science, Patna Women’s College.
