Six day study tour
The Department of Communicative English and Media Studies went on a six-day study tour to Delhi and Nainital (17th October to 23rd October). The trip began with a visit to the Broadcasting House at All India Radio in Delhi, where students were shown original antiques of the esteemed organization and were given a brief history of AIR under the guidance of Mr. Divendra, followed by a tour to The Indian Express in Noida, which included an interactive session with the chief editor, Mr. Raj Kamal Jha, and other journalists. Students were introduced to the work environment of mass media and applied media, which gave them valuable experiential learning. The group explored historical landmarks such as the Qutub Minar, Dilli Haat, and Jama Masjid. In Nainital, the tour included visits to Naini Mandir, Mall Road, and a boating experience on Naini Lake. Overall, the tour provided a truly memorable and enriching experience.
