Social Work organized fresher’s Day 2024-2026
On 29th July the Department of Social Work organized fresher’s Day to welcome the batch 2024-2026 M.A in Social Work students. The freshers showcased their talent and participated in various activities like thematic dance, group song, thematic skit on sustainable development goals, the documentary prepared by social work students was displayed along with poster presentation led by the Miss Fresher’s Section under which the students performed Ramp walk and introduced themselves .
The event ended up by the declaration of the result of Miss Fresher by the esteemed chief guests and the cultural co-ordinators Dr. Vinita Priyadarshi, Head, Department of Political Science and Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology. ‘Sujata Singh’, student of MSW Sem I won the title of Miss Fresher. At the end the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Mridul Mishra Head Department of Social Work. Faculty Members Sr. Sanjana A.C Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work and Sr. Bhagyam A.C, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work were also present. The whole event was moderated by Ms. Pretty Singh, Student M.A in social Work I semester. the student council member Pretty Singh was also present.
