World Mental Health day-2023

On the ocassion of World Mental Health day ,a human chain was jointly organized by Sehat Kendra and Department of Psychology, Patna Women’s College in the college campus from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM. The students prepared and displayed posters on the topic Mental Health issues in Young Women.

After that a Sehat Pradarshini under Sehat Kendra was organized on the theme,”Mental Health is a universal human right”.The Event was organized by the Programme Officers Dr. Shahla Rehana, Associate Professor, Department of English and Dr. Amrita, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics .
A total of 16 groups each of 3 to 5 students took part in it. The judges for this event were Dr. Prabhat Jha ,Assistant Professor, Department of English, Patna Women’s College and Dr. Apurba Paul, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Patna Women’s College. The judges appreciated and congratulated the volunteers for participating for this important issue.

The day ended with a counselling session conducted by Ms. Manisha, Psychological Counselor,Guidance and Counseling Centre
Department of Psychology from 2pm to 3pm wherein few students discussed their problems with her.
