The Department of Psychology organised an Interactive Session on “Careers Advances in Psychology” under PWC Alumni Connect on 26.02.2026 at 2:00 p.m. Prof. (Dr.) Abha Singh, Director, Psychological Fitness Solutions, Adjunct Online Faculty and Academic Consultant in Southern New Hampshire University, USA was the resource person for this session. She has also served as the Pro-Vice Chancellor, SGT University, Noida. She is a notable Alumni of the Department of Psychology, Patna Women’s College. She completed her IA in the batch of 1983-1985. She belongs to the B.A. Hons. Batch 1985-1988.

The session was focused on giving the information regarding chances in career advances and Higher education with respect to NEP2020. Madam discussed these changes like implementation of 4-year Degree Course in Psychology, then MA and PhD. She also discussed the progression changes for different areas of Psychology, specially Clinical, M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology. Students asked about their queries and all were answered satisfactorily by the resource person. The session remain interactive and effective.

The session was attended by around 80 students of Psychology.
