Abstract : The ligand 2-[(4-amino-5-propyl-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-yl) sulfinyl]acetic acid and its Co(II),Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) complexes have been prepared in solid-state and characterizedby elemental analysis and their structure have been suggested from the studies of electronicabsorption spectra. The infrared spectral

bands are shifting, presenting the bonding of ligands through •NH2(Nitrogen), Deprotonated Carboxylicgroup, and sulfinyl Sulphuratoms of the ligand.
