Thanksgiving Day for the outgoing students of UG 2019 2022 batch

Patna Women’s College enthusiastically celebrated Virasat: College Day 2022 with much joy and gaiety on 26th March 2022 from 10:00 A.m. onwards for the students of the college in the open-air stage hall. The event continued for more than four hours. The event commenced with the hoisting of the college flag which was followed by the college anthem. A mesmerizing prayer dance submerged the audience in the essence of spiritualism, a cuphonious welcome song was portrayed by a group of students.
Principal Dr. Sister M Rashmi AC, Patna women’s college encouraged and motivated the students by manifesting the lines, “Patna Women’s College is an epitome of excellence culture discipline and empowerment”. Thereafter, the much anticipated and most awaited Miss PWC contest took place. The contest comprised of three rounds. The contestants presented themselves in the round one, the round two was a writing round where the former was supposed to portray their writing skills in a limited time limit. The final round was an on-the spot question round where the judges asked relevant questions on the things going around the
world, technology and moral values. Furthermore, an enthralling group dance was portrayed by a group of students, the other performances include a solo song, a group song which was in the form of a tribute to the Late Lata Mangeshkar and a special musical performance.
The jury members for the Miss PWC contest 2022 were Dr. Poornima Roy, Assistant professor department of fashion designing, Dr. Devina Krishna, Assistance professor dept of English and Dr. Suniti Bhagat Assistant professor department of Home Science. Dr. Sister M Tanisha A.C.. Vice principal and Head, department of home science. Miss Enakshi Dey Biswas. Cultural Coordinator and Miss Samiksha Sinha, cultural Coordinator and Assistant Professor, department of Sociology coordinated the event with utmost dedication which made the event a success. The event concluded with a vote of thanks. The event was moderated by Binish Zubia, Jt. General Secretary and Simpi Kumari, Environment and Discipline Secretary.

•1st RUNNER UP – Aditi Singh (code 15) from department of Business Administration
