Abstract : Any change, even a change for the better, is always accompanied by drawbacks…- Arnold Bennett (1867-1931) Infrastructure projects are a necessity for most of the nations in order to grow economically and socially. In words of GAUTAM ADANI “Infrastructure sector is all about building assets for the country. It is part of nation building.” But the developmental projects leave behind a trail of destruction which are taken for granted by the governments around the world. They are considered as collateral damage and not much attention is provided. The situation is even more grim in the developing and underdeveloped nations.
Keywords : Development, Infrastructure, Infrastructural Projects (IPs), Internally Displaced Persons(IDPs), Sustainable Development.
