Brief report:
Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) organises Annual Sports Meet every year. This year, the Sports Meet was organised on 11th December, 2021. The Chief Guest for the programme was Prof. Girish Kumar Chaudhary, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Patna University. The programme began with the hosting of the College Flag followed up by the flagship March Past. The undergraduate students of all the departments along with the postgraduate students participated in various sports events. The 1st year students of the undergraduate programmes participated in the Yoga demonstration while the aerobic dance was performed by the students of second year. The students also participated in various Track and Field tournaments like 100-mts Hurdles, 100-mts, 200-mts and 800-mts Sprint Race, etc. Teaching and non-teaching Staff together with 4500 students took part in the Grand Finale, followed up by the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The event was concluded with the March Past performed by the 3rd year undergraduate students and post graduate students along with NCC and NSS volunteers. The event was coordinated by Dr. Manjula Sushila, Head, Department of Hindi and Sports Coordinator and Ms. Shweta Singh, Sports Teacher, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous). The entire event was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous).
