Brief Report :

On February 14, 2023, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) organized the 20th Valentine Throwball Championship, an inter-college throwball competition. Three teams, namely Patna Women’s College A, Patna Women’s College B, and Magadh Mahila College, participated in the championship. The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Manjula Sushila, Sports Coordinator and Head, Department of Hindi, who motivated and encouraged the students to give their best and uphold the spirit of sportsmanship. Following the address, the inaugural ceremony took place, led by Dr. Manjula Sushila, along with Ms. Shweta Singh, Mr. Pappu, and Mr. Rakesh, officially commencing the championship. The first match featured Team Patna Women’s College A against Magadh Mahila College, with the former emerging as the winners. In the second round, Magadh Mahila College competed against Team Patna Women’s College B, and Magadh Mahila College emerged victorious. The third round witnessed a match between Team Patna Women’s College A and Team Patna Women’s College B, with Team Patna Women’s College A declared as the winners. The final match was held between Team Patna Women’s College A and Magadh Mahila College, with Team Patna Women’s College A emerging as the ultimate champions of the championship. Dr. Manjula Sushila, Head of the Department of Hindi and Sports Coordinator, along with Ms. Shweta Singh, a Sports Teacher at Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), efficiently coordinated the event. The entire championship was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous).
