The students and faculty members of Department of Home Science, Microbiology and Biotechnology participated in the 12th Annual National Conference of “Breast Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons” to mark the World Breast Feeding Promotion Week on 3rd August 2024 at AIIMS, Patna. The conference, themed “Promoting Awareness and Transforming Lives” brought together experts in plastic surgery, oncology, and breast care from across the world. The conference featured keynote addresses, panel discussion and paper presentation on implant- based reconstruction, breast reconstruction in the setting of radiation therapy and myths and facts related to breast cancer. The conference provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, networking and collaboration. The event was organised by the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery, AIIMS, Patna, Bihar.
