PWC ALUMNI CONNECT

On 1st of August, 2024, the Department of Psychology organised an interactive session under PWC ALUMNI CONNECT. The Department titled it “DARPAN”.
The resource person for the session was Dr. Binda Singh, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, also an alumni of the Department (1971-74). It was on “Psychological interventions and services in society”.
The programme commenced by welcoming everyone. Dr. Ameeta Jaiswal, President, Alumni Association (PWCAA), Patna Women’s College, then presented a plant sapling to the resource person and welcomed her. Moving further, the resource person, Dr. Binda Singh talked about how mental health is important and as students of psychology how lucky one is to learn and spread awareness about it in our society. She emphasised on the importance of time management, motivation, discipline, reduction in phone usage, etc. She also shared some nostalgic memories from her college time. An interactive question and answer session was held where students asked about their queries.
Towards the end of the program, Dr. Nupur Sinha, Head, Department of Psychology, expressed her gratitude towards our respected Principal, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A C., Vice Principal, Dr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C., and Dr. Binda Singh.
