Brief Report-

The Department of Zoology and ECO Task Force, the Student Environment Club of Patna Women’s College, collaborated to organize a comprehensive “Five Days Dengue Prevention and Awareness Program” from November 10th to November 18th, 2022. The primary objective of this joint effort was to increase awareness among students and residents of slum areas about Dengue prevention. The first day of the program featured a Poster Making Competition and a Slogan Writing Competition. A total of 21 groups, consisting of 55 students, participated in the Poster Making Competition, while 45 students from different departments took part in the Slogan Writing Competition. The Poster Making Competition jury panel included Dr. Sister M. Stuti A.C., Dr. Sumeet Ranjan, and Dr. Sugandha Priya. For the Slogan Writing Competition, the jury panel comprised Dr. Shobha Srivastava, Dr. Neetu, and Mr. Rajeev Ranjan. On the second day of the program, which was November 11th, 2022, a Nukkad Natak Competition was held, with 7 groups, each consisting of 10 participants, participating. The Nukkad Natak Competition jury members were Dr. Sapna Kumari, Dr. Anupma Kumari, and Dr. Neetu. The entire event was successfully conducted under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., the Principal of Patna Women’s College.
