A meeting of Board Of Studies (BoS), Department of English, Patna Women’s College was held on 6th June, 2023 from 10 am in hybrid mode, to finalise the syllabi of the first two semesters of the Four Year Undergraduate Programme in English Honours based on NEP 2020.
The external subject experts Prof Banibrata Mahanta from Banaras Hindu University and Prof Shreya Bhattacharji from Central University of Jharkhand joined online via Zoom. The proposed syllabi with reading list and Course Outcomes were discussed and passed with minor modifications. The courses passed were MJC 1 & 2, MIC 1 & 2, MDC 1 & 2, SEC 1 & 2, AEC and VAC. The external experts appreciated the proposed courses and gave valuable inputs.
